tai chi is soooo cool! i do it mostly every day in the morning. doctor ron got me started on it so it could get me feeling relaxed and not scared or worried about stuff. hes got a black belt in it and even went to china to learn more from a famous tai chi master. i was thinking cause its pretty neat and does lots of good maybe you could want to know some stuff about it and maybe even try it.x
tai chi is a martial art but its lots more different than those ones like kung fu and karate cause its not for thumping or beating on someone to win a fight. nope! its mostly just for defending your self. it got started by a guy named chang san-feng way back a zillion years ago in the sung dynasty in china. one day he saw a snake and a crane fighting each and he liked how they were so balanced and in defending them selves they moved slow and graceful in getting out of each others way. he liked it so much he copied it and made it into a real neat self defending art that got called tai chi chuan.

mostly tai chi is a neat way for getting in a sync with your body and your mind so your whole self works together for good. its a bunch of real slow moves and every one of them is like imitating something in nature and each moves got a name like wild goose looks for food and bridge over water and stomping the tigers tail. that makes it more easy to remember. every move is real smooth and just flows right into the next one til you get done with a whole routine. it takes just 15 minutes a day to do it or you could do it longer or shorter.

1. it makes you lots less antsy and more calm and lots less depressed.
2. you get better balance and good breathing and more strong muscles
3. for more old people it helps them not fall as much

5. if you got high blood pressure it could help get it down

8. you could get lots more energy
9. it helps you get focused

besides all that it could help kids that have attention problems and thats called add and that stands for attention deficit disorder and now doctors say it could be a big help for kids with autism. it’s a really neat way to help those kids get more focused on stuff.
